Together, with 33 other states across the country, we will be holding a Unity Press Conference on Monday, February 5th, at 12pm, at the State House in Montpelier, to send a message of unity and power to our legislators. We are demanding that they join us in confronting the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation, and we are informing them of our upcoming season of civil disobedience. We will meet in the Cedar Creek room at noon, where we will hear from powerful speakers - citizens directly impacted by these issues, sending our message to the state via major media outlets. Then, together, we will walk to deliver our message in a formal letter to Speaker of the House, Mitzi Johnson, and to Senate Pro Tem, Tim Ashe. The Press Conference and letter delivery will take about 30 minutes. Then we will meet in Room 11, for another 30 minutes, to discuss our upcoming season of events and civil disobedience. We are packing the house with supporters and hope that you can join us!
