Our 40 Days of Moral Action concluded this weekend with thousands of us rallying and marching on the U.S. Capitol demanding an end to the policy violence that is hurting poor children and families across the country. We are so proud that so many Vermonters were there to take a stand with our brothers and sisters.
It’s been an honor joining you in the state capital every week for the last six weeks. This won’t be the last time we see each other. Our work in Vermont is far from over, even if the 40 Days of Moral Action are coming to a close.
We can't wait to share our experiences from 4 days of workshops, trainings, canvassing, and culture. We ate together, sang together, road the metro together and built a stronger sense of unity and shared struggle. Then on Saturday, tens of thousands more joined us on the National Mall for an historic showing of poor people's power.
We are additionally excited to share and discuss with you next steps for the Poor People's Campaign nationally and right here at home. We hope you can join us!
